The event will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, 08h30 - 11h00 at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel de la Paix, Geneva and will seek to explore trading and investment opportunities in Africa’s energy sector.
Building on the success of our recent Invest in African Energy receptions in Europe and our marquee event, the African Energy Week in Cape Town, this reception aims to highlight Switzerland's role as a global hub for energy trading and financing, while showcasing lucrative opportunities within the African energy sector.
Ahead of African Energy Week (AEW): Invest in African Energies 2025, the Geneva Power Breakfast will set the stage for the next edition of Africa’s premier energy event, taking place from September 29 to October 3 in Cape Town. AEW unites global energy leaders, project developers, and policymakers to drive investment, unlock new capital streams, and forge strategic partnerships that will shape the future of Africa’s energy landscape.
We are pleased to announce two key presentations during the event:
• A keynote address by NJ Ayuk, Executive Chairman of the African Energy Chamber, offering insights into the evolving landscape of Africa's energy sector.
• A technical presentation by S&P Global, highlighting the Africa outlook for crude refined products and LNG and providing valuable market intelligence for potential investors and stakeholders.
As a key initiative by the African Energy Chamber, this reception underscores our commitment to eradicating energy poverty in Africa by 2030.
